Hi. I’m Kaisa, and if you’re thinking how in the world you will pronounce this, think about Kaiser Chiefs ;)
I am currently in my 2nd year of the BA (HONS) Business Studies with Consumer Behaviour and Market Research & Working in an International Context.
I’m from Estonia, its capital Tallinn and came to Bournemouth to study after learning about the good reputation of BU. I also liked the fact that there were palm trees in UK.
Andy, in his quote, has captured a great idea that I strongly believe in. When doing business is a+b, then being good at doing business would be a+b+x, last one being the x-factor (no, not the TV show). Sometimes getting it right can be as mysterious as the human mind itself. This is why experience is so important in business, and life.
Business Mania’s main goal is to help you to get that valuable experience and knowledge in a fun and easy way. It’s for people who want to socialise, network, make friends, have fun, and learn something new about the business world and themselves. If you like challenges then we’ve got those for you, just make your pick! If you like to listen how others have succeeded, then they’re waiting for you, excited to talk. Reading, writing, dancing, laughing...all good teams need variety. Students from all BU Schools are welcome! Business Mania also offers a great opportunity to enhance your CV to impress the future employers. After all, what employer wouldn’t like you when you possess the x-factor!

Hello all, my name is Chris and I’m the Director of Communications for Business Mania! Currently, I’m in my second year at the University studying Leisure Marketing.
The reason I decided to get involved with Business Mania (and the reason I hope you do to) is because it’s a fantastic opportunity for any student to get involved in. I’m incredibly excited about the opportunities this can bring me in the forthcoming year and beyond that in the future.
I’m proud to be working alongside my good friends in Kaisa, Rachael and Suvi who are wonderful people and will help make your experience here in Business Mania a great one.

My name is Rachael, I am a second year student studying marketing, and the Marketing Director of the society (funny enough).

Hey peeps! Harking from scone country (Devon), I'm the token media guy, in my 3rd year of Scriptwriting for Film & TV. 'What are you doing in the business society?' I hear you ask...Film and TV are made up of businesses like any other, and I don't plan on being clueless in the world of money.
My job's to assist you in the same mission - raising awareness of the business world in all it's weird and wonderful facets. By researching, conjuring up ideas and keeping an eye on current events, I assist the team in making Business Mania as informative, fun and involving as possible!
